My latest Cake....

My daughter calls me and asks for a "simple" cake for her co-worker in her office.    Well, anyone who knows me knows I can't just put out a little cake of buttercream with some writing on it....I know this makes me sound like a snob,  but I DO CUSTOM CAKES!  Actually, my favorite cake is; One right out of the oven, cooled and iced with no decorations on  it, just White chocolate lemon with White chocolate cream cheese icing  "globbed" all over it and......of course, a glass of milk!!! Hee,Hee! 

 I don't think I could "WHIP UP A CAKE" any faster than 2 days if you count Baking, making decorations, fondant, icings and fillings.  And, I just happen to think the fondant ones just look better and sooooo this was about the most "simple" cake I could whip up!  I had never done a flower this big on a cake before, but I wanted it to be the main focal point.   Jamie said "She's a real foo foo girl, so make it pink and feminine ok?"       So it's Pink Champagne cake with layers of Bavarian cream and Strawberry filling.   I hope she likes it....
