Your new Pony Cousin....

Well cousins....... and fellow bloggers, after 30 some years of being a foiled, frosted blonde I have finally hit that point in my life (maybe it's mid life crises?) that I want a change....actually I want a horse, but if that's not in the cards right now, I'll settle for a change...

So...today while in the chair at my hairdressers, I said "Ya know what? I want to make a drastic change..." I'm tired of being blonde. I'd like to try red, (my DH would love that, he has a thing for those readhead FOX news girls) but that would look like I'm copying my Desert Rose cousin, so...lets try really dark brunette!"

My hairdresser laughed and said "Well, I actually think that would look good, but, you usually give me more of a heads up when you do something different with your hair, and this is REALLY different for you!"

"I know," I said....lets do it before I change my mind..."
Farewell, my blondeness....

So we got busy! Checking color swatch charts....

Leanne, My hairdresser started mixing the extra colors. She wanted to make sure I had some depth, so she was mixing a shade lighter than the dark brunette we settled on, in order to accomplish that.

And...Ta Da!!! As you can see, the depth thing did work....

And here is the final results....Meet your new BRUNETTE Good Time Cousin!
Well, what cha think?
