Not a typical Winter day...

"Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the house....
Not a grandchild was stirring not even a mouse.
The silence was golden tho I love all their sounds.....
I enjoyed my coffee down to the grounds".  :-)

Well, things have settled down, been cleaned up, we've made some visits, and I've only got to put away the tree, but, I just can't bring myself to part with that yet!  I just need to do it before leaving for the desert.

I had a very nice Christmas....I received a beautiful chocolate brown satin robe from my daugher and family, and my husband got me the Pasta Attachment I'd been WISHING for!  I make wonderful homemade pasta noodles AND it can be used to roll out the fondant that I make my flowers for my cakes with.  Very excited about that.

I had to share these pictures with you (also as my header) that I took the day after Christmas....It looks so much more like a beautiful Autumn day!  I couldn't believe how sunny and brisk it was!  So I managed to capture the few things I still have out that look fall like.  Unlike my pony cousin who has the cutest decorated place with winter things!  I am behind the eight ball at getting my things put put out and away! hee! hee!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
