Now that's what songs are made of....

It's so easy to take for granted those special times we have with family...

We are so grateful our daughter, her husband, the grandkids and even our brother in law were able to join us at the Lake this trip. These times are getting so few and far between with jobs and now the little ones all starting kindergarten. We know it's going to get more difficult to find special times to get all the family together. We have been trying to coordinate a "family" trip with both kids and grandchildren for 3 years, and it's still not coming together!

We are still keeping our fingers crossed....

On our way there, we stopped at this unique fruit & veggie stand/farm/country store outside of Leavenworth.

The kids had the ride of their life in this CUTE cow train that was powered by a little green tractor. We thought it was going to be a mild, little, around the parking lot ride for them.

But, when he took off, he almost peeled out! And man! he hit every mound, bump and hill he could find in the place, did circles galore at full tilt speed! We laughed so hard! I ran all over the lot trying to catch up to them to get these pictures!! LOLO It was hilarious! I wasn't even sure the kids were prepared for such a ride! I even thought it would be fun to take it myself, but I knew the kids would think "Oh great this big lady will just slow us down...." Hee! Hee!



Anyway, This store, called "Smallwoods", is great... I always stop and get my German Red cabbage. They have all kinds of specialty food items from sauces, BBQ's, Candy's, Rubs, Jams, and baking mixes for specialty scones etc. I love browsing this store.





As you can see....they aren't too shabby at growing nice flowers either!..
