Cowboy Christmas....

My oh My!  This was my "first rodeo" and I think I'm hooked!

This horse was in the opening ceramonies, I never thought I'd be jealous of a horses mane but.....this precious took my breath away.  Until....

They brought out the special person to Open the ceremonies by singing the National Anthem....Can you guess who this is? 




REBA MCINTIRE!!!!  Of course she knocked it out of the ball park.

And then I watched with awe the cowboys ride, ....

And ride.....

And ride......

And don't forget Roping!!!

And steer Wrestling and Roping.....I loved how these horses seemed to know what to do as much as the Cowboy.  They stopped quickly, and kept pulling slightly on the rope to keep it taught while the Cowboy did the tying.  Very fun!

And, of course I HAD to wear my new boots. I got a lot of compliments on them while in vegas.    Here, you see mine on the left and Desert Roses on right.  

And what a venue this is!  They actually had great looking Cowboys in "what I call...dancers booths" at the entrance...Who couldn't  let that slide?   Yup, Desert Rose!

And of course a little Cowgirl Courage.....Only problem was they had SUCH long lines! I hate it when that happens....We still had a wonderful time! 

Besides, we had Bossman there, and he is such a gentleman, he stood in line for the drinks!

I'm hooked on the NFR now.  Stay tuned for more posts on my treasures that I found while there!  Some are being sent to me so I can't post on those right now.  I'm enjoying watching the NFR on t.v. right now.  It's going on for several more days! And I just found out that my trainer from Yuma is headed there Fri. and Sat. night!  I'm excited for her!
