Betsy's days in the Desert

Hi there everybody,

I'm new to this blogging thing, but my cousins are all on board so I've decided to give it a try.

I am the one who doesn't own a horse, but would love to someday. I am being trained to ride, so that I may enjoy riding with my many cousins who are blessed with equines of their own.

I'm visiting my cousin Desert Rose right now and we've been spending some FABULOUS days in the desert! I can't believe the riding I've been exposed to! I have been riding her special guy "Jesse." He's been very good to me.

I went from riding 2 hours in the saddle to 7 hours! But, I have to say, I was a bit shang hi'd as I went out "thinking" we were doing a 5 hour ride and found out LATER it was going to be longer....That Desert Rose, she's a sly one.....But, I didn't whine one bit, and i only pee'd a couple times. Hee! Hee!

I've posted just a few pictures of our trips above, they have been SOOOO great, I can't wait to share all of them with you!

Right now, I'm just working on getting this blog up and running, and will try to make it more interesting with layouts etc. wish me luck!
